Profile pictures

Your Promakers profile is your calling card to clients and other professionals in the music industry. A clear profile photo and an eye-catching header build trust and increase your chances of getting hired.


Content Guidelines

To ensure a professional and safe environment, Promakers reviews uploaded images and reserves the right to remove any that do not comply with these guidelines.

Images containing the following are not permitted:

  • Content intended for adults or of a sexually suggestive nature.
  • Face not visible, blurry, very dark, wearing sunglasses, or partially covered (applies only to the profile photo).
  • Logos, watermarks, or overlaid text.
  • Images of third parties without their express consent.
  • Content that is offensive, violent, discriminatory, or incites hatred.
  • Images that do not depict the actual person: illustrations, avatars, or photos of other people.
  • Images generated using artificial intelligence (AI).
Important — Repeated violations of these guidelines may result in the temporary or permanent suspension of your account. If you're unsure whether your image is appropriate, please contact support before uploading it.

Profile picture

It appears next to your name in search results, service listings, and messages. It should clearly show your face so that customers can easily recognize you.

How to upload it

  1. Click on your avatar or username in the upper-right corner.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select My Profile.
  3. Click the ··· button next to "View public profile."
  4. Select "Profile Photo " from the menu that appears.
  5. Click the scissors icon to upload the image from your device. Make sure it meets the technical requirements listed above.
  6. Adjust the frame so that your face is centered.
  7. Click SAVE to apply the changes.
Tip — Use a photo with good lighting and a neutral background. Profiles that show your face inspire more trust and encourage better interaction on the platform.

Header image

The horizontal banner that appears at the top of your profile page. It's your space to showcase your artistic identity, specialty, or work environment.

How to upload it

  1. Click on your avatar or username in the upper-right corner.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select My Profile.
  3. Click the ··· button next to "View public profile."
  4. Select " Cover Photo " from the menu that appears.
  5. Click the scissors icon to upload the image from your device. Make sure it's at least 1024 × 768 pixels.
  6. Adjust the crop to highlight the most important part of the image.
  7. Click SAVE to confirm the changes.
Tip — Choose an image that reflects your musical style or work environment: a recording studio, DJ equipment, instruments, or an artistic photograph. Avoid using small text that might get cut off on mobile devices.

Delete an image

Go to your profile page and click on ···. Select the image you want to delete, and once you're in the editor, click the × in the upper-right corner of the image. Then click SAVE to apply the changes.


Frequently asked questions

Why is the "SAVE" button grayed out?

The button remains disabled until an image is uploaded or edited. Make sure you've selected a file before trying to save.

In what file formats can I upload my images?

The platform accepts only JPG and PNG files.

Do the changes take effect immediately?

Yes. Once you click "SAVE," the changes will appear immediately on your public profile. You may need to refresh the page to see them.

My image is larger than the minimum size, but it isn't being accepted. What should I do?

Make sure the file is in JPG or PNG format and does not exceed the file size limit. If the problem persists, contact our support team.
