The project workspace: collaborate and manage your work
Last updated: April 2026
When a client accepts a creative’s quote, the project moves to the “In Progress” status and the workspace is activated—the shared workspace where the client and creative collaborate until final delivery. Everything that happens in the project is recorded here.
The 6 tabs in the workspace
The workspace is organized into six tabs. Each one serves a specific purpose within the project.
The project chat. Here you can communicate in real time, share ideas, and ask questions throughout the collaboration.
Shared repository for all project files: references, sketches, and final deliverables.
List of project participants: the project creator (client) and the collaborator (creative).
Overview with the agreed-upon details: project description, terms of service, and budget terms.
Record of all payments made for the project: initial payment and final payment, including date, amount, and status.
Chronological timeline of project events: start date, status changes, and key milestones.
Messages: the project's communication channel
The Messages tab is the project's internal chat. It is the recommended space for all work-related communication: progress updates, changes in direction, reviews, and agreements.
- You can send text messages and include emojis.
- You can also attach files directly from the chat using the paperclip icon—these files will also be available in the Files tab.
- All messages are saved and remain visible to both parties for the duration of the project.
Files: the shared repository
The Files tab centralizes all project documents, audio files, and deliverables. The files are organized into three categories to make them easier to find:
Songs, audio files, or documents that the client shares as inspiration or guidance for the creative.
Working versions or demos in progress that the designer shares to get feedback before the final delivery.
The final approved files, ready for the client to download and use.
Either participant can upload files by clicking " Upload File." When uploading, you must specify which category the file belongs to (Reference, Sketch, or Final). You can also filter files by category or view only your own files using the "My Files" and "User Files" filters.
Users: project participants
The Users tab shows who is involved in the project and what role each person has:
The client who posted the project and initiated the collaboration. This is the person who makes payments and has the ability to close the project.
The music producer hired for the project. This is the person who delivers the work and receives payment according to the agreed-upon terms.
Receipts: Payment Records
The "Receipts" tab displays a complete history of all transactions made for the project. For each payment, you will see:
- Title — the name of the project associated with the payment.
- Description — indicates whether it is the Initial Payment or the Final Payment.
- Date — when the transaction took place.
- Amount — the amount in euros.
- Status — whether the payment was successful or pending.
You can download a receipt for each payment by clicking the download icon at the end of each row.
How to Complete a Project
Once the designer has submitted the work and both parties are satisfied with the result, the client can click the " Finish Project " button located in the upper-right corner of the workspace.
- Once the project is completed, the final payment is released to the designer.
- The project status changes from In Progress to Completed.
- Both parties may leave a review of their collaboration experience.
